After unsuccessful attempts in the past, Chambers, a six-time PBA champion, is eager to bring his expertise to the collegiate level and guide the Tamaraws towards success.
Chambers’ Vision for FEU
Chambers expressed his excitement about coaching in the UAAP, stating that coaching at the university level has always been a dream for him. He aims to work hard and make an immediate impact on the team.
FEU’s Expectations
FEU board member Mark Molina shared that Chambers is committed to a long-term coaching role with the Tamaraws, with the goal of ending their Final Four drought and adding to their impressive championship record.
“FEU has always been a contender. We missed the Final Four in the last few years, but before that, we were in the Final Four for eight straight years. We still are the No. 1 team in the UAAP with 20 championships. We’re always contenders. We make do with what we have and we always compete,” said Molina.
