Justin Brownlee showcased his skills as Pelita Jaya Basketball completed a first-round sweep of the Basketball Champions League (BCL) Asia Qualifiers with a convincing 82-64 victory over Singapore’s Adroit Club.

Brownlee’s Stellar Performance

Justin Brownlee’s impressive performance included 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting, with a remarkable 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. In addition to his scoring, Brownlee contributed 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 block, showcasing his versatility on the court.

Consistent Excellence

Throughout the opening round of qualifiers, Brownlee maintained near double-double averages of 18.3 points, 9 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. His standout game came against Ulaanbaatar Xac Broncos, where he posted an impressive stat line of 26 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals.

Looking Ahead

With Pelita Jaya securing the top spot in Group B, they are set to continue their momentum into the second round of qualifiers in Jakarta from April 23 to April 26. The top two teams from the qualifiers will advance to the BCL Asia, where they will face off against champion teams from various leagues.
