Suarez was initially set to face Henry Lebron in a world title eliminator, but the Puerto Rican withdrew from the bout. Moving forward, Suarez plans to continue training under Boholst in Las Vegas for his upcoming fights in July or August.
After his boxing commitments, Suarez will return to the Philippines to fulfill his duties as a Private First Class in the Philippine Army.
