Eldrew Yulo showcased his talent and skill in the junior level of the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships, following in the footsteps of his older brother Carlos who also excelled in the senior division.
Gold Medal Triumph
Yulo secured a gold medal in the vault event with an impressive performance, earning an average of 14.433 points. This victory marked his first title in the continental competition, after previously winning silver in the same event.
Outstanding Performance
In the final, Yulo displayed his prowess with two remarkable vaults that scored 14.7 and 14.166 points respectively. His exceptional performance in the qualifier set the stage for his success in the competition.
Podium Finish
Altynkhan Temirbek from Kazakhstan claimed the silver medal with 14.183 points, while Sarvar Abulfaizov from Uzbekistan took home the bronze with 13.766 points. Notably, China’s Wang Chengcheng finished in sixth place with 13.433 points.

Eldrew Yulo’s victory comes on the heels of his older brother Carlos’ double gold win in the individual all-around and floor exercise events. Earlier, Eldrew had also achieved success in the Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships with two golds and three silvers.
