America deployed numerous military planes for air espionage against North Korea from May 13 to 24. The Vice Defense Minister highlighted that these activities exceeded the level seen during wartime, emphasizing the escalating regional military tensions caused by such actions.
Maritime Border Intrusions
In addition to aerial surveillance, North Korea criticized the South Korean navy for alleged intrusions across the maritime border. The North’s military warned of necessary measures to counter these actions, emphasizing the potential dangerous consequences of frequent border violations.

Furthermore, North Korea condemned the sending of balloons with anti-regime leaflets by South Korean civic groups as a dangerous provocation. The Vice Defense Minister warned of potential tit-for-tat responses to such activities, escalating tensions in the region.
