Alex Eala Advances to ITF W75 Open 3C de Seine et Marne Finals

Filipina tennis sensation Alex Eala, in partnership with French player Estelle Cascino, secured a spot in the finals of the ITF W75 Open 3C de Seine et Marne tournament. Eala and Cascino displayed a stellar performance in the semifinals, defeating their opponents in a convincing 6-3, 6-3 victory.

Semifinals Triumph

  • Eala and Cascino defeated Russia’s Kira Pavlova and Luxembourg’s Marie Weckerle in the semifinals.
  • They took an early lead and maintained their dominance throughout the match.
  • The duo broke serve four times to secure their win.

Upcoming Finals Challenge

In the finals, Eala and Cascino will face top seeds Jessika Ponchet of France and Maia Lumsden of Great Britain. Ponchet, a consistent performer in the French Open, and Lumsden, ranked 77th in the world, present a tough challenge for the underdog pair.

This marks Eala’s fourth appearance in the semifinals of women’s doubles on the pro circuit in 2024. Her previous victory in the ITF W50 Pune alongside Darja Semenistaja showcases her potential for success in the doubles category.
