Jerwin Ancajas Aims for World Champion Title

The time has come for Jerwin Ancajas to claim another world crown. Ancajas is set to challenge Takuma Inoue for the WBA bantamweight crown at the Kokugigan Arena in Tokyo, Japan.

Ancajas’ Determination

Despite being considered the underdog against Inoue, Ancajas is determined to bring home the crown and become a world champion once again. He previously held the IBF super flyweight title for six years.

Both Ancajas and Inoue weighed in at 117.75 pounds, with Ancajas expressing his readiness to face Inoue in the ring. Ancajas, with a record of 34 wins, 3 losses, and 2 draws, is focused on giving his best performance.

Fight Night Expectations

Ancajas did not promise a knockout but stated his willingness to go all out in the 12-round bout. His trainer, Joven Jimenez, emphasized their thorough preparation at Survival Camp in Magallanes.

Predictions and Support

MP Promotions president Sean Gibbons is confident in Ancajas’ victory, while Inoue is prepared to face the Filipino fighter. The fight will be officiated by American Mark Nelson, with judges from South Korea, Italy, and the United States.

Undercard Match

In the undercard, Jonas Sultan will face Riku Masuda, aiming for a win to position himself for a world title eliminator. Sultan’s manager, Junnie Navarro, is providing support for the Filipino boxer.
