LeBron James’ Son Bronny Enters 2024 NBA Draft
Bronny James, the son of NBA great LeBron James, has announced his decision to enter the 2024 NBA Draft while maintaining his college eligibility. This comes less than a year after he survived a cardiac arrest incident.
Health Scare and Recovery
The 19-year-old guard faced a health scare when he went into cardiac arrest in July while training with his University of Southern California (USC) team. After being hospitalized and placed in intensive care, he was discharged three days later. Despite the setback, he received medical clearance to rejoin his team four months after the incident.
Decision to Enter the Draft
In an Instagram post, Bronny expressed his growth throughout the past year and his decision to enter the NBA Draft while also staying eligible for college. He also mentioned his entry into the NCAA transfer portal and thanked USC for his freshman year experience.
LeBron’s Influence
LeBron James, a legendary NBA player, has previously voiced his desire to play alongside his son in the NBA. The 39-year-old, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, has had a remarkable career, becoming a four-time NBA champion and reaching the milestone of scoring 40,000 career points last month.
Upcoming Draft
The 2024 NBA Draft is scheduled for June 26-27, where Bronny James will look to make his mark in professional basketball.
