Cebu Hosts Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet 2024
The Queen City of the South, Cebu, has officially kicked off the much-anticipated Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) Meet 2024 on Saturday, May 4. It has been a decade since Cebu last hosted this regional sports event.

John Pages, chairman of the Cebu City Sports Commission, highlighted the significance of this event during a press conference on Monday, April 29. The province is set to welcome athletes from various divisions for this grand competition.
Precursor to Palarong Pambansa
The CVIRAA Meet 2024 will also serve as a precursor to the upcoming Palarong Pambansa, scheduled to take place in Cebu from July 11 to 15. This back-to-back sporting extravaganza will showcase the talents of young athletes from across the region.
