Ukrainian Officials Report Casualties and Damage from Russian Strikes

Ukrainian officials in the southern Dnipropetrovsk region reported casualties and significant damage caused by Russian strikes overnight.

Details of the Attacks

According to reports, three people were killed and 20 others were injured in the strikes. A five-story building in Dnipro was set on fire and partially destroyed, with concerns that people may be trapped under the rubble.

The governor of the region, Sergiy Lysak, provided updates on the situation, stating that six people had been injured so far. He mentioned that the upper two floors of the building in Dnipro’s center were destroyed, and there was additional damage in the Kryvyi Rig district.

Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, confirmed two fatalities and 15 injuries resulting from the strike on the building. Additionally, a woman lost her life, and two others, including a 14-year-old girl, were injured in an attack in the Synelnykivskyi area southeast of Dnipro.

In Kryvyi Rig, two men and a woman sustained injuries during a strike on an infrastructure facility, as reported by Oleksandr Vilkul, the head of the local military administration.
