Fil-Am Nation Select Triumphs Over NU Bullpups in NBTC Round of 16

A new high school hoops champion will be crowned this year as Fil-Am Nation Select avenged last year’s heartbreak by defeating longtime champion NU-Nazareth School in the NBTC National Finals.

Key Highlights:

  • Terrence Hill led Fil-Am Nation with 21 points, including 15 crucial points in the middle quarters.
  • Caelum Harris expressed determination to win the championship after last year’s loss to NU Bullpups.
  • Sebastian Mergate contributed 19 points to help Fil-Am Nation advance to the quarterfinals.
  • Andy Gemao and Jacob Bayla also made significant contributions to the team’s victory.

Upcoming Match:

Fil-Am Nation will face One Media TV48 Naga in the Elite 8 on Thursday, March 21.

  • One Media TV48 Naga advanced by defeating Toyomoto Auto Supply-Davao.
  • Adamson Baby Falcons and UST Tiger Cubs are the remaining UAAP teams in the tournament.
