Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire – Legendary Titans Unite
The fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong are back in action as they join forces in “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” to combat a mysterious new threat that challenges the existence of Hollow Earth and humanity.
Actors’ Experience with Director Adam Wingard
Actors Rebecca Hall and Bryan Tyree Henry had a thrilling experience working with director Adam Wingard on the film. Wingard’s infectious enthusiasm for the project brought excitement to the set, especially for the fans.
- Henry, portraying Bermie Hayes, expressed his excitement, “I saw brand new stuff every day. It makes a huge difference when your leader is a fan of this kind of universe, and is excited by the discoveries of what could possibly be, what could unfold. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I think the fans are going to be very excited.”
- Hall, in the role of Dr. Ilene Andrews, shared, “You get this belief that he has a sense of what the film’s going to be, but you also get to have a really good time on set, because he has this exuberance that is just intoxicating. He does have an inner 10-year-old, and he’s there all the time watching everything. He directs with that enthusiasm, and you know you’ve done well, because you can hear him chuckling.”
Beautiful On-Location Scenes
The film features stunning on-location scenes that left the cast members in awe.
“The wildlife on it is really astonishing. I didn’t think we could get much better than that, and then we went to the Daintree Rainforest, which is one of the oldest rainforests on the planet,” shared Hall. “I’m a bit of a plant nerd. I really like plants and I do a lot of gardening in my spare time. That makes me sound a little bit tragic, but it’s in keeping with Dr. Ilene Andrews, and it’s the truth.”
Kaylee Hottle, reprising her role as Jia Andrews, expressed her excitement about returning to the Monsterverse for “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.” “It’s really exciting. Audiences will see even more action and more adventures. On this film, we went to the Daintree Rainforest. There were leeches, crocodiles, snakes, cassowaries. But it was beautiful.”
