Ysabelle Palabrica: A Rising Star
Ysabelle Palabrica, a talented young artist hailing from Iloilo City, achieved a significant milestone at the age of 15 by fulfilling her dream of recording a special song composed by the renowned songwriter, Vehnee Saturno.
The Launch of “Kaba” Remake
On April 17, Ysabelle unveiled her remake of the Vehnee Saturno classic, “Kaba,” originally made popular in the ’90s by Tootsie Guevarra. The launch took place at the iconic Music Box in Timog, where Saturno himself graced the event to show his support.
Strong Family Support
Ysabelle was not alone in her musical journey. She received unwavering support from her parents, Bingawin City of Iloilo Mayor Mark Palabrica and her mother, JeAn Magno Palabrica, who stood by her side throughout.
Despite her young age, Ysabelle now shares the spotlight with OPM legends like Martin Nievera, Sarah Geronimo, Jaya, and Ariel Rivera, a fact that still astonishes her.
A Dream Come True
Reflecting on her achievement, Ysabelle expressed her joy and disbelief, stating, “I’m super happy, shocked,” during a media conference following the launch.
The Journey Begins
Ysabelle’s passion for singing and performing began in her childhood, nurtured by her family who recognized her talent and passion for showbiz.
While navigating her budding career, Ysabelle remains committed to her education, a non-negotiable priority set by her father, Mayor Mark Palabrica.
Debut Concert and Public Service
Shortly after her successful launch, Ysabelle held her debut concert, “Awit Ng Panahon: Noon At Ngayon,” at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. The event, in collaboration with Pro Entertainment Production and Mallillin’s Music Production, supported the Anawim Home for the Abandoned Elderly.
The concert featured esteemed guests like Hajji and Rachel Alejandro, Gino Padilla, and other notable performers, setting the stage for Ysabelle’s promising career.
Future Endeavors
Ysabelle’s management team is keeping her engaged with a new YouTube show, “Krazy-x You,” designed to entertain her audience and showcase her unique talent while she continues her education in Iloilo.
