Jacob Bayla Commits to UP Fighting Maroons
Jacob Bayla, a 6-foot-5 Fil-Am basketball player, has committed to play for the UP Fighting Maroons in the upcoming UAAP men’s basketball tournament. Bayla, who previously played for Gilas Pilipinas Youth, expressed his excitement to join the team and further his basketball career in the Philippines.
Bayla’s Decision
- Bayla, a standout player from Valley Christian High School in California, chose UP for its competitive basketball program and coaching staff.
- He will join key players like Francis Lopez, Harold Alarcon, and JD Cagulangan in UAAP Season 87.
- Bayla also highlighted UP’s academic opportunities as a significant factor in his decision.
