NBA Suspends Kris Dunn and Jabari Smith Jr. for Altercation

The NBA has taken action against Utah Jazz guard Kris Dunn and Houston Rockets forward Jabari Smith Jr. following their involvement in a scuffle during a game in Houston. Dunn has been suspended for two games without pay for initiating the altercation and throwing a punch at Smith. On the other hand, Smith received a one-game ban for his role in the incident.

During the game, which took place on Saturday, March 23, Dunn and Smith were both given technical fouls and ejected just five seconds into the second quarter of the Rockets’ 147-119 victory.

As a result of the suspensions, Dunn will miss the upcoming home games against the Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs, while Smith will serve his suspension in the game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
