Lassiter Rises to 4th in All-Time PBA 3-Point List

Marcio Lassiter’s Milestone in the PBA

Marcio Lassiter continues his impressive climb in the all-time PBA three-pointers list, solidifying his legacy in Philippine basketball history.

Surpassing James Yap and Closing in on LA Tenorio

In a recent game for the San Miguel Beermen, Lassiter surpassed James Yap to claim the fourth spot in the list. He now sets his sights on overtaking LA Tenorio for the third position.

Lassiter’s Stellar Performance

During the game against NorthPort, the 12-year veteran showcased his sharpshooting skills by contributing 14 points, including 4 three-pointers. This performance elevated his career total to 1,197, edging past Yap’s record.

Aiming for the Top Spots

With LA Tenorio currently holding the third spot with 1,218 three-pointers, Lassiter is determined to continue his impressive form and potentially surpass both Tenorio and the all-time leader, Jimmy Alapag.

Lassiter’s Perspective

Reflecting on his achievement, Lassiter expressed gratitude for being mentioned alongside basketball legends like Alapag and Tenorio. Despite his age of 36, Lassiter remains a key player for the Beermen, showcasing a remarkable 55% three-point shooting percentage.

Looking Ahead

While focused on team success, Lassiter acknowledges the possibility of breaking more records in the future. As the Beermen maintain a perfect 7-0 record, Lassiter’s consistent performance hints at further milestones in his PBA career.

More games mean more opportunities for Lassiter to enhance his three-point tally, setting the stage for an exciting playoff run for the defending champions.
