A man with a sword was arrested in Hainault, east of London, after several people were attacked and injured, according to the Metropolitan Police.

The incident took place just before 7 a.m. (0600 GMT) when a vehicle drove into a house, leading to reports of multiple stabbings. The suspect proceeded to attack other members of the public and two police officers.
Arrest and Ongoing Investigation
A 36-year-old man was arrested at the scene by the Metropolitan Police, which covers an area of 620 square miles (1,605 square kilometers) in Greater London. Authorities are awaiting updates on the condition of those injured.
