The Russian defense ministry confirmed that their troops had taken control of Arkhengelske, which is situated near the town of Ocheretyne. Earlier this month, Russia had also claimed the capture of Ocheretyne.

Reports from Ukrainian police indicated that three individuals lost their lives and two others were injured in Russian attacks on Donetsk. The city experienced over 1,800 strikes within a single day, highlighting the escalating violence in the region.
