After an impactful four-season stint, Thirdy Ravena has decided to part ways with the San-En NeoPhoenix in the Japan B. League. Ravena, the first Filipino import in the B. League, shared his emotional departure on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the years spent with the team.
Ravena’s Journey in Japan B. League
- Ravena, known for his success with the Ateneo Blue Eagles, joined San-En under the league’s “Asian Player Quotas” system in June 2020.
- Despite facing challenges like visa issues and injuries, Ravena showcased his skills with career-high averages in points and rebounds.
- After a roller-coaster ride of wins and losses, the NeoPhoenix clinched the Central Conference championship in the 2023-2024 season.
