Regional Casualties and Damage

The cyclone’s impact extended to West Bengal and Bangladesh, with a total of at least 38 casualties reported. In India, the death toll rose to 21, including eight fatalities in West Bengal.

Meanwhile, in Bangladesh, which faced the brunt of the cyclone, at least 17 individuals lost their lives, as reported by the disaster management office and police.
