Vivamax Reaches 11 Million Subscribers Milestone
In a celebratory media conference, Viva Films’ top executives, Vincent del Rosario (president and COO) and Valerie del Rosario (Senior Vice President for Content Creation) of Viva Communications Inc., proudly announced that their streaming platform, Vivamax, has reached a remarkable milestone of 11 million subscribers.
Significant Growth and Success
This achievement marks a significant leap from their seven million subscribers last June 2023, surpassing their initial projections for 2024 by a wide margin. Launched in January 2021, Vivamax has quickly established itself as the fastest-growing video-on-demand service in the Philippines.
- Content Library Expansion: The platform’s content library has expanded to nearly 500 titles, with original productions approaching 200.
- Global Audience Reach: Vincent del Rosario highlighted that Vivamax’s success is not confined to the Philippines, with close to a million subscribers in Indonesia alone. The platform’s content resonates with audiences in Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, the UK, and India.
Introduction of New Artists
To celebrate reaching the 11 million mark for Vivamax, the streaming site is introducing 11 new artists to its platform. These rising stars include Dyessa Garcia, Rica Gonzales, Christy Imperial, Arah Alonzo, Vern Kaye, Athena Red, Alessandra Cruz, Jenn Rosa, Candy Veloso, Mariane Saint, and Skye Gonzaga.
Commitment to Cinema
Despite the success of their streaming platform, Viva remains committed to producing films for the cinema. Valerie del Rosario emphasized their dedication to creating films for theatrical release, believing in the unique experience that cinema offers.
“At the end of the day, we just want to tell stories and entertain our audience. Whether it’s through Vivamax or in cinemas, we aim to provide diverse and compelling content that resonates with viewers everywhere,” Valerie stated.
The Vivamax app is available for download from the App Store, Google Play, or Huawei AppGallery.
